You can also order on line, just click on www.patient.co.uk/patient-access  which will open a new page.  From here you can register for online appointments and prescription requests.  Once you have registered you will need to wait approximately 48 hours to be accepted and fully registered.  You can also order repeat prescriptions on the NHS App.

 Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner practice nurse or pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your prescription.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
