FLU VACCINES 2020
We are getting an increasing number of enquiries regarding the flu vaccine this year.
The vaccine will not be available until the end of September & appointments will not be available to book until at least the beginning of that month.
Due to Covid-19, we are changing the way we run clinics due to social distancing and to ensure the safety of everyone. We are planning these at the present time and will update this as soon as we can along with details of the eligible groups of patients.
Please note that people in the 50 to 64 year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50 to 64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from flu, you will be able to have the vaccine earlier.
Many thanks for your understanding.
