Named GP for all Patients

From 1 April 2015, the practice is required under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients a named accountable GP.  This GP has responsibility for the co-ordination of all appropriate services required under the contract and ensure they are delivered to each of their patients where required, based on the GP's clinical judgement.

For convenience your named accountable GP will be the named Doctor you are registered with.

If you wish to be told the name of your accountable GP, please ask at reception when you are next here.  Please inform us if you wish to change your accountable GP.

Having a named GP does not prevent you from seeing any other Doctor in the practice.
