Clinics and Services
In addition to general medical consultations we are pleased to be able to provide specialist clinics and services covering the following areas:
- Asthma
- Chronic obstructive airways disease
- Coronary heart disease
- Diabetes
- Minor surgery – all of the doctors can carry out procedures for lumps & bumps, joint injections and coils/implants etc.
- Childhood vaccinations and immunisations – our practice nurses run these clinics on a weekly basis
- Help 2 Change Clinics – our social prescribers can help with smoking cessation advice and weight management
- Non NHS Examinations – The Doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please make an appointment with reception. There is usually a charge for this work.
- Other vaccinations – for all eligible patients we offer respiratory syncytial virus vaccine RSV and shingles.
We also have provide access to the following specialists:
- Community Care Co-ordinator – based at the practice. This is a signposting service to point patients in the right direction for various community services.
- Social Prescriber – Provide help, guidance and support to patients with extended community services. See their latest patient leaflet (PDF).
- Cancer Care Coordinator – provides support to patients and families from referral to diagnosis.
- First point of Contact Physio – see also our myrecovery app to help you manage your join or muscle pain
- Mental Health Practitioner
- Other Long Term Conditions reviewed by clinicians.

Travel vaccinations
We offer NHS vaccines only. For any private vaccines, please contact a pharmacy or travel clinic. So we can offer the appropriate advice, please complete the online questionnaire available below.

Non-NHS Services
Some services provided fall outside the scope of the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
Our reception staff will be happy to advise you about appointment availability and applicable charges.
Blood tests
We offer a phlebotomy service to our registered patients for authorised blood tests from our clinical team. Patients can book a prior appointment by telephoning the surgery, online or call and book at reception. Blood results can be obtained via the NHS App. See also Test results.
